Who We Are

I was born and raised in Hillsboro Oregon. I retired after a 22 year career in law enforcement. Over those 22 years I spent a lot of time in coffee shops. After about 10 years of the coffee shop routine, I began noticing the different tastes between coffee roasts and origins, so I took notes. I began reading about different coffee beans and roasts and what made them so unique; and a passion was born. I decided that the best way to fuel this passion, besides just drinking a bunch of coffee, was to start roasting my own! Now, with this love for coffee and serving the community Tall Fir Coffee allows me to do something I love and continue both the social aspect and the amazing world of coffee! What could be better?

Our Mission

Our mission is to find the best coffee beans from around the world and roast them to bring out the most desirable flavors and aromas. We do this by roasting in small batches so we can be sure each cup of coffee is as consistent as possible.
